Abel & Mary are the lead pastors at The LEAD Church. They are parents to three wonderful adult children Daniel, Nathan and Abby. All three are married and have given them seven grandchildren. They have been in ministry for over 30 years and have worked side by side to accomplish national and international projects for the Latino church. Abel & Mary are graduates from Rhema Bible Institute, Abel attended Dallas Christian College from 2002-2005, received a master’s degree in Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is the author of Renovatio (the 12 Fundamental Keys to developing an Effective Youth Ministry), The Leadership Bible, FORM (36-week discipleship curriculum for students) and coauthor of Somos padres... ¿y ahora quién podrá ayudarnos? along with Liderazgo vulnerable o intocable. He is the founder and author of the CLAY Student Leadership program, a dynamic six-year leadership curriculum focused on reaching students and their parents in the public schools. He also worked in corporate America where he was instrumental in working with over 450 employees and millions of dollars of inventories. His experience with the corporate world mixed with his ministry knowledge has allowed him to impact this generation. Abel and Mary are both Texans, He is from Brownsville, and she is from Dallas.
Beto and Xiomara Rodriguez serve as the Executive Pastors of The Lead Church. Beto is a community-focused business owner, running two State Farm offices in Dallas County. He and his wife, Xiomara share a deep commitment to their community. Xiomara, grew up in the same neighborhood where the church is located, loves being a mom and has a talent for making people laugh. Married for nine years, they are the proud parents of a two-year-old son, Nathaniel. Beto’s dedication to people and local businesses drives his work and service.
